An active member of the Greater Boston, Massachusetts, and National Association of Realtors, Ali Melignano is a certified New Homes Specialist in residential construction and has just acquired her broker's license. Her career began with a singular focus on the high-end luxury sales market in Weston and Wellesley but has since progressed to helping first-time homebuyers in Boston and its surrounding suburbs as well.
A quick, ambitious learner, Ali was eager to expand her horizons through improvement and further education. Learning the city market in conjunction with her work in the suburbs gave her a broader understanding of this multifaceted industry, its challenges, and its possibilities.
Ali's love of real estate started early but took truly effect after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. After college, she became the Client Services Manager at FlipKey—a vacation rental home startup in Boston.
Her time in client services helped her develop interpersonal, technological, and communication skills. As a bonus, working with homeowners and renters significantly prepared her for her future job as a realtor, which she officially commenced in 2014. Dedicated and patient, Ali was a natural fit for the top-producing luxury real estate team at Coldwell Banker's Weston office. For five years, she and her team specialized in helping buyers and sellers within Weston's luxury market and the neighboring communities.
Earlier this year, Ali joined Compass and has enjoyed the opportunity to meet and work with new people. Her years in the business have helped her realize that the foundation of a successful real estate business is rooted in the relationships you make with your clients.
As a Weston native, Ali prides herself on her extensive experience and leverages her insider knowledge of the region and natural resourcefulness to help guide her clients through the local housing market's nuances. She likes to focus on each transaction's human element, making trust, transparency, and reliability top priorities. She works closely with a team that can offer their clientele varied resources, including access to off-market listings and reputable local builders.
Ali is immensely grateful for the network of friends, clients, and family she has in her life. Her support system provides the guidance and support she needs to tackle whatever curveballs life throws her way. Ali hopes to offer that same kind of empowerment and advocacy to her clients.
When Ali isn't working (which is rare), she likes to take it easy and enjoy life's subtleties. She often explores the many Massachusetts suburbs, takes her beloved huskies Tito and Leo for walks along the local trails, and spends quality time with her husband, Dave, and their friends.
